About The Event

The panel will provide an opportunity for 4 sub-national states to share their plastic pollution management practices, and to showcase the actions they have put in place at their level to add their strength to the process already underway at international level with regard to negotiations on the issue of plastic pollution. This activity will provide participants with an opportunity to put into perspective what can be done around the world at sub-national state level in plastics management, but also to gain a complementary perspective to the international negotiations held at INC4; namely, that taking sub-national governments into account in this negotiation process is important.
