Canada will host delegations, high-level representatives, partners, and stakeholders from around the world for the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-4) to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa from April 23 – 29, 2024.

As part of Canada’s efforts to demonstrate domestic leadership in tackling plastic pollution and commitment to organizing an inclusive, equitable and meaningful meeting, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) will host a Plastic Action Zone (PAZ) on the margins of INC-4 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
