About The Event
The panel focuses on closing the gap between scientific discovery and policy implementation in plastic pollution management. Drawing lessons from historical environmental challenges where delay hindered timely mitigation of impact - like acid rain and ozone depletion, we will discuss strategies to enhance collaboration between scientists and policymakers, ensuring that research informs actionable, effective policies without delay. The goal is to foster evidence-based, timely interventions that can mitigate the impacts of plastic pollution more effectively.
